Glow is Scotland’s nationally available digital environment and can support learning across the whole curriculum. Glow is not just one place or platform, instead it offers a username and password that gives access to a number of different web services.
Every learner at Beeslack CHS has a Glow account and an associated password.
If learners are having any problems with Glow/ Microsoft Teams, including forgotten passwords, then they should e-mail - email@example.com - outlining the details of the problem.
Class Teams provides a collaborative space to help distribute tasks and resources to learners. Learners can then update and return these materials or upload other evidence of learning to share with their teacher or peers. Class Teams provide a Conversations area to support learning and a Files section to share materials.
Students can access Microsoft Teams using an Internet browser or by downloading the app.
If working on a desktop or laptop computer students should download the Microsoft Teams Desktop App and login with their Glow E-mail - firstname.lastname@example.org.
We've created a How to Access Microsoft Teams guide what can be used to support learners accessing Microsoft Teams.
Staff have created a Class Team for the majority of classes. Learners have either been pre-added to the appropriate teams, or have entered the class code shared in class. If learners have been absent the document below lists the class codes for all Teams in use at Beeslack CHS.
We have produced a number of short tutorial videos for Microsoft Teams, Office 365 & Glow. These are available below.
