Re-Opening Information for Parents 7.08.20
This letter accompanies a Parent/Carer Information booklet designed to outline key aspects of how the school will operate when it re-opens to pupils next week. Earlier this the week we communicated the days that each year group should attend school during week beginning 10th August before a return to full time education for all week beginning 17th August. This information is repeated in the Parent/Carer Information booklet should you need to refer to it.
The accompanying booklet contains a significant amount of information, which we appreciate will be time consuming to digest but we cannot stress enough how important this information is for safeguarding the health and safety of all pupils and staff and to ensure that the transition back to school is as smooth and straightforward as possible. We are acutely aware that some pupils and their parents/carers will be anxious about returning to school and so we hope that the information booklet provided offers a degree of reassurance and answers any questions you may have.
Everyone at Beeslack Community High School is very much looking forward to welcoming our young people back to school. All health and safety and procedural information will be shared with pupils when they return to school, but in the meantime we encourage you to share the information contained in the booklet with your child. In particular, we would like to draw your attention to the pick-up and drop off procedures contained in the booklet, as well as arrangements for breaks and lunch, uniform, physical education, health and hygiene and movement rules.
We thank you in advance for your support in helping us to re-open Beeslack in a safe manner to ensure pupils can reconnect with all aspects of school life as quickly and safely as possible. If after reading the booklet you have any remaining questions, please do not hesitate to contact the school.
