Learning and Teaching at Beeslack
At Beeslack we are very focused on creating the right conditions for learning in our classrooms and have an established pattern of self-evaluation focused on our teaching practice and the pupil voice. We use the information gathered to improve outcomes for learners, by providing regular opportunities for staff development and collaboration. There is a strong collegiate learning culture. However, we firmly believe that success in learning is very much down to the relationships fostered by our pupils and teachers, and this is a prominent theme throughout our school policies.
As a school, we have adopted and are continuing to develop teaching strategies that make our pupils learning more visible, so that they can see where they are going, how they are going to get there and where they are going next.
